Coleman’s® New Branding Campaign Capitalizes on Brand Heritage and Recognition

Campaign features trade ads, online banners and new trade destination Web site

NORMAN, OKLA. - (March 25, 2009) - Coleman® announces the launch of a new branding campaign, "The Brand That Opens More Doors." The campaign features several key mediums that complement each other and provide consistent messages, including trade ads, online banners and a new trade destination Web site: www.colemanhvacdealer.com.

"The new branding campaign capitalizes on Coleman's respected brand heritage and recognition," said Coleman Brand Manager Brian Michael. "The campaign also incorporates messages that show how our innovative, industry-leading products and premier marketing programs can assist Coleman dealers."

The first ad in the trade series, entitled "The Brand Everyone Knows," underscores the ability of Coleman's brand recognition, heritage and preference to open more doors for HVAC dealers. The second ad, "The Brand That Fits," expands upon product-focused trade materials developed last year around the compact footprint of Coleman MicroChannel products and the reduced height of Coleman 33-inch furnaces.

"This second ad takes that concept a little further by educating potential dealers that our products are a good 'fit' in more ways than one," explained Michael. "Coleman provides the right product size as well as the right product mix to fit customers' ideas of comfort, budget and sustainability, giving dealers additional options in the sales dialogue.

"And with a reduced size on most equipment models, dealers may fit all the products they need for installation and service in a single load, saving time, money and the environment."

According to Michael, the Web site supports the branding campaign and further entices potential dealers to consider joining the Coleman team.

The new site features improved navigation, more product detail, links to Coleman's history, featured products and the Coleman Home Comfort Center, an interactive program that shows customers how equipment upgrades can improve comfort and lower operating costs.

An updated dealer support section presents information about the Liberties™ program, including descriptions of the Retail Credit, Dealer Floor Planning, Commercial Leasing and Co-marketing programs as well as the new Marketing Action Center (MAC).

"The Marketing Action Center is an extensive online collection of marketing materials spanning a range of topics designed for maximum impact and visibility," Michael explained. "Dealers will find everything from customizable ads, brochures and direct mail to door hangers, images and public relations templates."

The site also educates potential dealers about Coleman's brand power and its best-in-class training. In addition, a new sustainability page describes the environmentally friendly selling features of Coleman products.

Johnson Controls Introduces Three-phase York® Affinity™ Horizontal Discharge Condensing Unit with MicroChannel Technology

Unit features enhanced capacities and efficiencies up to 15.6 SEER/13.75 EER

Available in 2.5- to 5-ton models, the new unit features state-of-the-art MicroChannel aluminum coil technology, enhancing capacities and achieving efficiencies up to 15.6 SEER and 13.75 EER when coupled with a variable speed indoor blower. The corrosion-resistant coils provide maximum protection, especially in coastal applications - as much as seven times greater corrosion resistance than conventional copper tube and aluminum fin coils.

The compact slim-line design of the Affinity horizontal discharge condensing unit allows for easy installation in tight spaces, including small yards and zero-lot-line homes. The stackable unit only requires a six-inch clearance on either the air discharge or inlet. Installation time and costs are further reduced by easy power and control wiring connections.

A high-efficiency scroll compressor and swept wing fan blade reduce operating sounds to a mere whisper - as low as 71 decibels (dBA). In addition, the unit features a factory supplied filter drier, an accumulator and crankcase heater, high- and low-pressure switches and 200-feet line set lengths.

The Affinity horizontal discharge condensing unit uses environmentally friendly R-410A refrigerant and is packaged in a heavy-gauge steel cabinet and tubular base rail for added support. York covers the unit with a one-year limited parts warranty and a five-year compressor warranty.

Johnson Controls Announces 2009 Spring Promotion for York® Unitary Products

Consumers have option of $1,700 cash-back rebate or free, 10-year extended warranties
- plus $1,500 federal tax credit

NORMAN, OKLA. - (March 13, 2009) - York, a brand of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment manufactured by Johnson Controls, Inc. (NYSE: JCI), has launched its 2009 spring promotion. The promotional period began March 1 and runs through June 15.

By purchasing qualifying York equipment this spring from participating York Liberties™ dealers, consumers can receive up to a $1,700 cash-back rebate or free, 10-year extended warranties on parts and labor (unless prohibited by law in some states). In addition, they can receive up to a $1,500 federal tax credit.

Qualifying equipment includes York Affinity™ and LX Series air conditioners, heat pumps and furnaces, Affinity horizontal discharge air conditioners, X-13 and variable-speed air handlers, residential packaged units, Enhanced Premium Systems, Premium Systems and Enhanced Systems.

Rebates start at $50 on select gas furnace models and go up to $1,700 on an Enhanced Premium System, which includes an Affinity air conditioner or heat pump and a matching York variable-speed indoor blower (furnace or air handler), a matching AHRI coil, a York thermostat and two York indoor air quality products.

Century Air Conditioning Supply to Distribute Coleman® Equipment in North Texas Market

Former Johnson Air Conditioning Supply locations in Dallas, Richardson will serve Coleman dealers
