Luxaire's® New Ovation™ Commercial Split Systems Feature R-410A Refrigerant and MicroChannel Technology for Efficient, Environmentally Friendly Operation
Ovation split systems include condensing units, heat pumps and air handlers NORMAN, OKLA. - (June 25, 2009) - The new Ovation™ line of commercial split cooling and heat pump systems from Luxaire® (www.joinluxaire.com) uses environmentally friendly R-410A refrigerant and MicroChannel technology to deliver compact, efficient operation in 7.5- to 20-ton capacities. The Ovation systems are EPAct 2010-compliant and incorporate aluminum MicroChannel coil technology along with scroll compressors to increase system efficiency. One- and two-stage operation improves part-load efficiency and comfort levels, and the capacity range and refrigerant piping configurations (two or four pipes) make Ovation the system of choice for almost any application. Redesigned from the ground up using the reliable platform of the existing Ovation packaged product, the new system enjoys all the benefits of the original product, including a proven design at a competitive price. Operation is quiet, thanks to vertical discharge condenser fans that direct sound upward and away from any surrounding structures, and rubber mounting that reduces scroll compressor vibrations. Air handlers feature factory-installed standard and oversized motor options, techni-coated indoor coils for corrosion protection and a standard two-inch filter rack that can easily be field-converted to accept four-inch filters. The air handlers also include adjustable thermostatic expansion valves, liquid line solenoids for capacity reduction and an adjustable motor sheave to allow airflow flexibility in the field. System units come completely assembled, piped and wired at the factory to provide one-piece shipment and rigging. In the field, Simplicity® microprocessor controls provide easy set-up and programming as well as alarm monitoring. Each unit is pressurized with a holding charge of R-410A refrigerant for storing and/or shipping. Luxaire® products from Johnson Controls, Inc., include high-performance residential central air-conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces and accessories and light-commercial, packaged heating and cooling systems marketed through a network of distributors and delivered to home- and building-owners through independent Luxaire heating and air conditioning dealers. Coleman® Adds New Outfitter Split Systems to Environmentally Friendly Product Offerings
Line of commercial split cooling and heat pump systems uses R-410A refrigerant
NORMAN, OKLA. - (June 17, 2009) - Coleman® (www.colemanhvacdealer.com) has added a new line of commercial split cooling and heat pump systems - the Coleman Outfitter™ -- to its environmentally friendly product offerings.
The Coleman Outfitter uses R-410A refrigerant and is EPAct 2010 compliant, exceeding ASHRAE 90.1 efficiency levels. Built on the reliable platform of the existing Outfitter packaged product, the outdoor units feature a compact design, clean styling and quiet operation that make them suitable for almost any outdoor installation.
MicroChannel condenser coils on the cooling units feature aluminum coil technology that provides excellent heat transfer and uses less refrigerant charge than traditional copper tube and aluminum fin designs. The units also use scroll compressors mounted on rubber isolators to quietly deliver high efficiency and reliability.
The Coleman Outfitter line offers single pipe and single- and two-stage commercial condensing units and heat pumps. In addition, many models are available in a four-pipe design, providing redundancy in system operation and versatility in application choices.
Available in 7.5- to 20-ton capacities, the new Outfitter systems feature Simplicity® microprocessor controls, providing easy set-up and programming as well as alarm monitoring. Air handlers include factory-installed standard and oversized motor options, techni-coated indoor coils for corrosion protection and a standard two-inch filter rack that can easily be field-converted to accept four-inch filters. The new air handlers also include adjustable thermostatic expansion valves, liquid line solenoids for capacity reduction and an adjustable motor sheave to allow airflow flexibility in the field.
Units come completely assembled, piped and wired at the factory to provide one-piece shipment and rigging. Each unit is pressurized with a holding charge of R-410A refrigerant for storage and/or shipping.
HVAC products from Johnson Controls, Inc., marketed under the well-known Coleman® brand, include highly reliable residential central air-conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces and accessories and light-commercial, packaged heating and cooling systems marketed through a network of distributors and delivered to home- and building-owners through independent Coleman heating and air conditioning dealers. Johnson Controls Introduces New Line of York® Predator® Commercial Split Systems
Environmentally friendly cooling and heat pump systems use R-410A refrigerant
NORMAN, OKLA. - (June 10, 2009) - Johnson Controls (http://www.johnsoncontrols.com), the global multi-industrial leader in energy efficiency, introduces York® Predator® split systems, a new line of environmentally friendly, EPAct 2010-compliant and economical commercial split cooling and heat pump systems.
Available in 7.5- to 20-ton capacities, York Predator systems use R-410A refrigerant and feature a compact design based on the robust and reliable platform of the Predator line of packaged rooftop products. MicroChannel condenser coils on the cooling units provide superior heat transfer while using less refrigerant, and scroll compressors ensure both high efficiency and reliability.
All models in the new line include Simplicity® microprocessor controls, engineered for easy set-up and programming, to provide alarm monitoring. Single or dual (two- or four-pipe) refrigerant circuits provide redundancy and a variety of application choices, including one outdoor unit matched with two indoor units.
Vertical discharge condenser fans direct sound upward and away from any surrounding structures for quiet system operation. In addition, scroll compressors are mounted on rubber isolators to reduce the transmission of vibrations.
Predator air handlers feature a number of options, including factory-installed standard and oversized motors, techni-coated indoor coils for corrosion protection and a standard two-inch filter rack that can easily be field-converted to accept four-inch filters. Designed to operate both cooling condensers and heat pumps, the new air handlers also include adjustable thermostatic expansion valves, liquid line solenoids for capacity reduction and an adjustable motor sheave to allow airflow flexibility in the field.
Units in the new Predator line come completely assembled, piped and wired at the factory to provide one-piece shipment and rigging. Each unit is pressurized with a holding charge of R-410A refrigerant for storage and/or shipping.
York® products from Johnson Controls, Inc. include energy-efficient, residential central air-conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces and accessories and innovative light-commercial, packaged heating and cooling systems marketed through a national distribution network and delivered to home- and building-owners through qualified York heating and cooling dealers. For more information about York, visit: www.yorkupg.com or call 877-926-5362.
